Mehmood Kot (Urdu: محمُود كوٹ), (Punjabi: محمود کوٹ) or Mahmud Kot is a small town in District Muzaffargarh, Punjab, Pakistan. The coordinates of Mahmud Kot are 30°15'3"N 71°29'12"E.

Mahmud Kot is famous due to the shrine of Khaja Mian Muhammad Hussain Panwar Chishti, who was the Khalifa of Qibla Alam Hazrat Khaja Noor Muhammad Maharvi. Great Scholar Hazrat Mian Khaliq Dad Altaf and Great educationist Syed Akbar Hussain Shah belong to this city.

The Lal Pir Power and PARCO refinery are located in Mehmood Kot. The city is served by Mahmud Kot railway station.
