Mardakert District (NKAO)

Mardakert District or Ağdərə was one of five raions of the former Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast (NKAO) of the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic (AzSSR). Until September 1935 it was called Jraberd Rayon.[citation needed]
