Behrooz Ghamari-Tabrizi (born 1960) an Iranian historian and sociologist and Professor of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University. He is known for his works on Iranian revolution and its aftermath.[1][2][3][4][5][6] Ghamari is the Director of Sharmin and Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Iran and Persian Gulf Studies.
Career
He joined Princeton University in February 2019. Previously he was professor of history and sociology and the Director of the Center for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He was awarded a Beckman Fellowship in 2008.[7][8][9][10]
