Synechodes papuana is a moth in the family Brachodidae. It was described by John B. Heppner in 1990. It is found in New Guinea.[1]
The wingspan is about 23 mm. The forewings are fuscous with a pale yellow basal spot and subtornal semicircular orange-yellow mark. The hindwings are fuscous with a pale yellow mid-cell mark and white mark at the center of the dorsal margin.[2]
