The wingspan is 13–14 mm. The forewings are light orange, metallic shiny. The basal fascia is small and brownish and there is a large, yellowish-brown median patch, round on the anterior margin, occupying more than one-fourth of the wing. The distal two-fifths of the wing are yellowish brown. The hindwings are pale greyish brown.
Etymology
The species name is derived from Latin glori (meaning glory) plus the suffix -osus.[2]
