Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar People
The Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar People is a national congress and the supreme representative plenipotentiary body of the Crimean Tatar people.[1][2][3][4][5][6] Within Ukraine for sometime it is officially considered as a public organization of the Crimean Tatar National Movement.
Description
At Qurultay the Crimean Tatar people are represented by delegates elected by Crimean Tatars and members of their family regardless of their nationality permanently residing on the territory of Ukraine as well as those Crimean Tatars and members of their family who are citizens of Ukraine regardless of their place of residence.
The term of composition credentials of Qurultay is five years.
Delegates of Qurultay in the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea represented the People's Movement of Ukraine.
