2nd Maizuru Special Naval Landing Force

The 2nd Maizuru SNLF were troops of the Imperial Japanese Navy's Special Naval Landing Forces.

Formed at the Maizuru Naval District, the 2nd Maizuru SNLF participated in the battles of Wake Island and Kavieng. They also took part in the landings at Lae.[1]

In July 1942, the unit was disbanded and amalgamated into the 8th Base Force at Rabaul.
