Antonio Stefano Benni

Antonio Stefano Benni (18 April 1880 – 27 December 1945) was an Italian fascist who served as President of the General Confederation of Italian Industry from 1923 until 1934.

Biography

His father, a financial intendant, died while he was still young. His early years were spent in Cuneo, in 1883 the family moved to Milan. Due to financial hardship, in 1894 he stopped his studies and went to work as an apprentice for Ercole Marelli.
