Larak (Sumerian:𒆷𒊏𒀝𒆠, LA-RA-AKKI[1]) was an important city of ancient Sumer. According to the Sumerian king list, "it was the third of the five cities to "exercise kingship" in the antediluvian era. The only king of Larak to be mentioned is En-sipad-zid-ana.It is believed that the city was on the west bank of the Tigris to the east of Kish. Its patron deity was Pabilsag, god of the trees.[2]
