A Christmas Romance is a 1994 made-for-television Christmas film directed by Sheldon Larry and starring Olivia Newton-John and Gregory Harrison which premiered on CBS on December 18, 1994.[2] It was filmed on location in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Newton-John also sings the song in the opening credits, "The Way of Love", a track taken from her 1994 album Gaia: One Woman's Journey.

Summary

Julia Stonecypher (Olivia Newton-John) is a widow with two young daughters who struggles to keep up financially and, to make matters worse, she loses her job just days before Christmas. When Brian Harding (Gregory Harrison), an upscale banker from the city, comes to visit Julia to collect on her outstanding bills, she is unable to pay. After informing her that she will lose her house, Brian takes off into a snowstorm but doesn't make it far. When he crashes his car and injures himself, Julia allows him into her home despite his surly attitude. But as they wait out the storm together, Brian begins to have a change of heart and it looks as though this might be a merry Christmas for Julia after all.
