Shaikh Abbas bin Mohammad Reza al Qummi born in Qum also known as "Muhaddith Qumi" was a Shia Hadith scholar. He was born in Qom in 1296 Hijri (1877 CE). He died at the age of 63 years in 1359 Hijri (1940 A.D.) Abbas Qummi was second to none in the training of oneself, a well appreciated statement is attributed to his character that he considered it unjust to advise other people to perform supplications without having done them first by himself.[1]
