Abralia gilchristi

Abraliopsis gilchristi is a species of enoploteuthid cephalopod found in southern temperate waters of the south Pacific Ocean, from New Zealand to South Africa. It feeds on copepods, euphausiids and hyperiids. Spawning appears to occur between September and December.
