Actes Sud
Actes Sud is a French publishing house based in Arles. It was founded in 1978 by author Hubert Nyssen.[1][2][3] By 2013, the company, now headed by Nyseen's daughter, Françoise Nyssen,[1] had an annual turnover of 60 million euros and 60 staff members.[2] In 2015, two of its authors won literary prizes: Mathias Énard won the Prix Goncourt and Svetlana Alexievich won the Nobel Prize in Literature.[4]
