The Ada bridge or Sava bridge is a on going construction of a new bridge over the Sava river in Belgrade, Serbia. The bridge will cross over the tip of Ada Ciganlija island. Construction began in 2008 and is scheduled to be completed by 2011. The bridge will significantly reduce traffic passing through the city centre and the older Gazela Bridge. This new bridge will be a part of the internal magistral ring, it will also carry a third of Belgrade's metro lines, connecting the outer parts of New Belgrade with the central areas. The project is expected to cost 160 million euros in total. The bridge's main tower will be 200 metre's tall.[1][2]
