Sir Charles F. Adair Hore, known as Sir Adair Hore, became Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Pensions.

In Q1, 1912 in Kensington, he married Elizabeth Miriam née Miers[1] (birth registered in St. Pancras, Q2, 1867[2]), the widow of Jacob Isaac Belisha (birth not registered in England[3]), the parents of the child who became Leslie Hore-Belisha, 1st Baron Hore-Belisha.
