Aditi Balan (born 1991) is a South Indian film actress known for her role as 'Aruvi' for the film Aruvi.[1][2] She is basically from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and started her career in acting in Tamil Movies after her degree course completion. The interesting fact about her is, she first featured in the movie Yennai Arindhaal (2015) featuring in the song “Mazai Vara poguthey” in which she comes as friend around Trisha. Her next film Aruvi was critically acclaimed and brought her much recognition and awards.

Career

She got the opportunity to play an uncredited role in the film, Yennai Arindhaal in 2015 before playing the lead actress for the 2017 film, Aruvi. It was one of the biggest hits in 2017 and her performance was Praised by critics .She received many accolades for Aruvi including Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor – South.[3]
