Adolf Taimi (1881, Saint Petersburg – 1955) was a Finnish Communist leader and a member of the Red government in 1918, during the Finnish Civil War, after which he fled to the Russian SFSR. From April 15, 1947 to 1955, he served as the Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Karelo-Finnish Soviet Socialist Republic.[1]
