Aegialiinae is a small subfamily of much larger Scarabaeidae family, which contains all species of scarab beetles.[1] This subfamily contains four genera.

Proposal for fifth genus

A fifth genus known as Caeluilotia was proposed by Laporte to accommodate some species belonging to genus Silluvia, but was rejected by mainstream scientific community as unnecessary.
