Aeolidioidea is a superfamily of small sea slugs, the aeolid nudibranchs. They are gastropod mollusks.

The superfamily Aeolidioidea consists of the following four families (according to the taxonomy of the Gastropoda by Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005):

  • Pleurolidiidae (synonym of Aeolidiidae)

2007 taxonomy

Gosliner et al. (2007)[1] have elevated subfamily Babakininae (that was within Facelinidae) to the family level Babakinidae.
