Akeal Jerome Hosein (born 25 April 1993) is a Trinidadian cricketer who has played for Trinidad and Tobago in West Indian domestic cricket, as well as representing the Barbados Tridents in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Born in Port of Spain, Hosein represented the West Indies under-19s at the 2012 Under-19 World Cup in Australia.[1] His Template:Cric FC debut for Trinidad and Tobago came during the 2012–13 Regional Four Day Competition, against Jamaica.[2] The following season, Hosein was man of the match in consecutive games, taking 6/33 and 5/34 against the Windward Islands and then scoring a maiden first-class century, 102 not out, against the Leewards.[3] He subsequently signed with the Barbados Tridents for the 2014 Caribbean Premier League, and has since made appearances for the team at the 2014 Champions League Twenty20 and the 2015 CPL tournaments.[4]
