Akropoli metro station (Acropoli) is on Athens Metro Line 2. It opened on 16 November 2000 as part of the Template:OASA Metro stations extension, and is the nearest station to the Acropolis Museum and the eastern entrance to the Acropolis of Athens. The station has a ticket office and three automatic ticket machines.

The station is decorated by huge posters of Melina Merkouri and reproductions of the Elgin Marbles of Parthenon.

There are two entrances / exits to the station. One in Makrigianni street and one in Athanasiou Diakou street
