Al-Najma Club (Arabic: نادي النجمة‎) is a Bahraini club based in Manama. The club competes in Handball, Football, Volley and Basketball. Some of their famous players are striker mourad faris, Rashed Jamal,young Bahrain Olympic team player Hamad Faisal, Yemeni international defender Salem Saeed, and the main goalkeeper of the Bahraini national team sayed shubar.

Rivals[edit]

Al Ahli Club is considered to be Al Najma's fiercest rivals in which the two teams contest the derby called, The Capital's Derby, as both teams are considered to be the most decorated football teams in the capital, Manama. Al Najma fans are also known to have friendly relations towards Muharraq fans, especially in the past in which you could sometimes spot Al Najma fans attending Muharraq matches and vice versa, when the other team is no longer in competition.
