People[edit]

  • al-Qāʾim Āl Muḥammad, a messiah-like figure in Shi'a Islam, similar to the Mahdi
  • People with full name or honorific al-Qāʾim bi-amr Allāh ("the one raised by [or 'who carries out'] God's order"):
    • Ali Ibn Abi Talib (d. 660) He was Called by Ismaili Shia in Kanz al Walad: Qaim Qyiama Sugra.
    • Abu al Abbas al-Saffah (d. 754) He have no accepted title by historians at his time but Masudi in Tanbih wal Eshraf said that He proclaimed Mahdi title first not Saffah and the unknown historian of 9th century of Akhbar bani al Abbas sayed that his father Muhammad called him al Qaim al Mahdi, this is supported by Ibn Kathir and ibn al Athir who calls him al Qaim, and al Qaim in bani Hashim tradition is the savior, Mahdi of wide spread Islamic culture, this explain why Masudi sayed that He took Mahdi title and some historians say that al Saffah was title of Abdullah ibn Ali his Uncle but because of Abbasid Propagenda about the Mahdi son of al Mansur, the title al Qaim disapeared from history and in 11th century it was replaced by al Saffah.

    • Musa al Kadhim (12th November 745-799), the 7th Imam according to various Hadiths the 7th is Qaim and some of Prophecies readers saw that because He was born according to some traditions in 5500 Anno Mundi (739-745) and He was a suspected leader of a secret Political Dawa to destroy Abbasid regime. after his death Waqifites refused to accept his death and expected his Second Coming to destroy Abbasid Caliphate and Conquer Rome, Costantinapole, China and Kabul then fill earth with justice after these wars and establish new religion and Reveal new Scripture and new Sunna, how ever there is many messianic alid revolt at his time like idris ibn abdullah (the yellow flags of Qaim from west) and Yahya ibn Abdullah (in daylam ,al fata al Hasani Sabih al Wajh fil daylam who will rise a revolt in Taliqan) maybe they worked secertly under his banner.
