The Albert Einstein Society was founded on 28 June 1977 by Dr Max Flückiger. It is located in Bern, Switzerland, and awards the Einstein Medal.[1][2] This medal is awarded to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to science that is related to the work of Albert Einstein.
