Aleksandr Langfang (Александр Иванович Лангфанг) (1907 in Brest – 1990) was a Lieutenant-General in the NKVD.

He is held responsible for the death of Jaan Anvelt, who died from injuries received during an interrogation conducted by Langfang on 11 December 1937.[1][2]

On April 5, 1957 he was arrested for his crimes during Stalin's time. In 1958 he was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment and was released in 1972.[3]
