Alessandro Zanni (born 31 January 1984 in Udine)[1] is an Italian rugby union player who has played over 100 times for Italy. He currently plays for Benetton in the Pro14 and the European Rugby Champions Cup. His usual position is as a number 8, but in national team he has played openside flanker, blindside flanker and most recently at lock.

Zanni made his debut for the Italian national team in November 2005 in a Test against Tonga[2] and has been a regular in the Italian test team ever since winning his 100th cap against England on 4 February 2018.[3]
