Alexis Mac Allister (born 24 December 1998) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Argentinos Juniors.[1]
Career
Club
Mac Allister, like his two brothers, started his career with Argentinos Juniors.[2] His debut for Argentinos came in Primera B Nacional in October 2016 versus Central Córdoba.[1] On 10 March 2017, Mac Allister scored the first senior goal of his career in a 2–1 loss against Instituto.[1] In total, Mac Allister scored three goals in twenty-three matches as Argentinos won the 2016–17 Primera B Nacional.[1] He subsequently made his first top-flight appearance on 9 September versus Patronato.[1]
International
After debuting for Argentinos, Mac Allister received a call-up from Claudio Úbeda for the Argentina U20s.[3]
Personal life
Alexis Mac Allister has two brothers, Francis and Kevin, who are also professional footballers.[4] They are the sons of Carlos Mac Allister and nephews of Patricio Mac Allister.[4]
