Alfred Elliott

Alfred George Elliott (1828–1915) was Bishop of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh [1] from 1897[2] to 1915.
Educated at Trinity College, Dublin,[3] he was ordained in 1858 and his first post a curacy at Bailieborough. He later held Incumbencies at Muntoconnaught, Castleraghan and Drumlease[4] before elevation to the Episcopate as the 8th Bishop of the United Diocese.
