Alfred Pisani
Alfred Pisani is a founder and shareholder of the Corinthia Group of Companies and has been the Chairman and Chief Executive since the company's inception in 1966. He was responsible for the construction of the Group's first hotel, the Corinthia Palace in Attard, Malta. Pisani has led the Corinthia Group from a one-hotel company to a diversified group.[1] His business interests vary from equity participation, management, development and ownership of property and industrial catering, all on an international scale.
Background and private life
Pisani was born and raised to an upper-middle-class family in Malta. His father owned several businesses, which the Pisani brothers eventually sold to help finance their business venture.
Pisani was educated at St. Edward's College, Malta.
Honours
- On December 13, 2001, Pisani was appointed Officer to the Maltese National Order of Merit.
