Allegheny Seamount

36°52′7.6″N 58°44′16.4″W / 36.868778°N 58.737889°W The Allegheny Seamount is a seamount in the Atlantic Ocean. It is part of the New England Seamount chain, which was active more than 100 million years ago. It was formed when the North American Plate moved over the New England hotspot.[1]
