Altensteig () is a town in the district of Calw, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated in the eastern Black Forest, 18 km southwest of Calw, and 19 km northeast of Freudenstadt.

Landmarks, sights and culture
Altensteig is well known for its picturesque medieval townscape and for the Christophorus-Kantorei Altensteig, an internationally renowned youth choir.[2]
