Amajac River

The Amajac River is a river of central−eastern Mexico.

Geography

It flows through Mexico City and the Mexican Federal District, the State of Mexico, and Hidalgo and San Luis Potosí states.

Upstream it receives the Tula River, and thus drains the Valley of Mexico, which contains the Mexico City metropolitan area.

In San Luis Potosí it joins the Moctezuma River at Tamazunchale. The Moctezuma is a tributary of the Pánuco River and Gulf of Mexico.
