Ambawela is a village in Sri Lanka. It is located within Central Province.

Ambewala Products (Pvt) Limited

Ambewela Products (Pvt) Limited was established with a long-term foresight of improving the dairy industry in Sri Lanka. Being of national importance, the Company is setting up a brand new state-of-the-art dairy farm and factory, which is one of a kind in South Asia, with an investment worth over Rupees one billion. This dairy plant is scheduled to be in commercial operations in mid 2009. With the new plant, Ambewela farms are ready to take a giant leap forward by giving consumers a wide variety of milk and other dairy products such as Cheese and Yoghurt, which will be manufactured to the highest international standards.

This new dairy complex with an ultra modern processing and packing factory for milk and milk allied products is estimated to contribute 9.5 million litres of fresh milk to the nation annually.[1]
