The American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) is an American industry trade group representing hundreds of clothing, footwear, and sewn products companies and their suppliers. The AAFA was formed in August 2000 through the merger of the American Apparel Manufacturers Association (founded in 1960 from Southern Garment Manufacturers Association created in 1933) and Footwear Industry America.[1]
