Ammayie is an upcoming Indian Tamil horror film directed by G Sankar. The film features a cast of Vinay Rai, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Poorna in the lead roles. Featuring music composed by Ilaiyaraaja and cinematography by Saravanan, the film began production in mid 2016.[1]

The film was launched in a ceremony during June 2016 attended my the lead actors and technicians.[2] Featuring Vinay and Varalaxmi in the lead roles, the film was revealed to be a horror story made by a debutant director and producer.[3]
