Andrea Marcato (born 17 April 1983 in Padua, Italy) is an Italian international rugby union player. He plays fly-half for Benetton Treviso in Super 10 competition. He also plays for Italy national team. He is also able to play as full back.

Though his international debut was in 2006 (against Japan, win 52-6), he was no longer called during 2007 (including the RWC). New head coach, the South African Nick Mallett, called him up to the the Italy squad for the 2008 Six Nations Championship[1], in which Marcato played all the 5 matches, the first 2 as substitute.

Mallett confirmed Marcato even for the 2008 summer tour in the Southern Hemisphere. Marcato played against the Springboks (loss 0-26) on 21 june then one week later in Córdoba against Argentina, where Italy won 13-12 thanks to a Marcato's penalty kick sent within the posts at the 80'.
