Wild and Scenic Andreafsky River

The Andreafsky River is a river in the U.S. state of Alaska.[1]

The Andreafsky River flows southward to its confluence with the Yukon River near the village of St. Mary's. Its entire course lies within the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge.

On December 2, 1980, the Andreafsky was designated a National Wild and Scenic River. This designation covers approximately 265 miles (426 km), of which approximately 198 miles (319 km) are within designated wilderness, 54 miles (87 km) cross private lands, and 13 miles (21 km) cross non-wilderness refuge lands.[2]
