Andrew Wilson played for Glasgow Warriors and Scotland. He could play at either flanker, or Number Eight.

Rugby Union career

Professional career

He joined Glasgow Warriors in 2002. He was quickly labelled, by the then coach Kiwi Searancke, as the find of the season, although Wilson bemoaned the side's lack of form: "I feel I have just scratched the surface in terms of what I can give - there is a lot more to come. I went to Glasgow with no illusions of what I was going to be undertaking, but I would easily swap my personal success for some victories at the moment. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of my first season as a pro, but it has been a fast learning curve. Personally, I am more than happy with the way things have gone for me - but I would be much happier if Glasgow were still playing the way they were in the first couple of months of the season."[2]

Outside of rugby

He now works as an engineer in the oil industry in Scotland.[3]
