As fate may have it, one day, Venu Gopal witnessed a robbery by Parasuram (Prabhakar Reddy) and his henchmen. To protect their identity, Parasuram decided to kill Venu Gopal before he could go to the police. So one night, he and his men storm into their house and kill both their parents. Vijay & Anand witness the act and flee. They make their way to a passing train, where Anand is separated from Vijay.

Several years pass by and the boys have grown up. Vijay is haunted by the memory of his parents' murder and is now joined by his friend Devadas (Raja Babu) on a crime spree around the city. Anand was adopted by a fairly wealthy man who is the groundskeeper to the love of his life, Sunitha / Sony (Latha) and Naveen, was raised by the his maternal aunt, and started a band and does gigs at hotels for a living and is also in love with a co-singer (Jayamalini).

The brothers meet several times, yet do not recognize each other. However, when they finally do, they cannot contact each other. Vijay will be caught by his boss, who is the real murderer of his parents. As the movie progresses, Vijay finds out and kills the villain.
