Apothecaries' ounce is a unit of weight of medicine used in pharmacy.[1] One unit of apothecaries ounce is equal to 30g in metric system.[2] It is abbreviated using the symbol ℥.[citation needed]

  • 2 oz = 60 g
  • 4 oz = 120g
  • 16 oz = 1 lb
