Arián is a Spanish-language name related to Italian Ariano, or Ariàn in Ferrara dialect, which occurs very rarely and might be a misspelling for Adrián.

  • Arián Iznaga, a blind paralympian sprinter from Cuba (male name)

However, in the Spanish film El viaje de Arián (article in Spanish Wikipedia) (1995) Arián is the name of the female lead character, possibly as a phonetic writing of the French Arianne. The version Ariane is more common in Spain as female name.

In welsh language, "arian" means "silver". Nowdays used as "modern" male name.
