Arkady Romanovich Abramovich (Russian: Аркадий Романович Абрамович) born 14 September 1993 is a Russia businessman, heir and eldest son of Roman Abramovich, Russian billionaire and owner of Chelsea F.C.[1]
Biography
Abramovich is one of five children born to Russian Jewish billionaire Roman Abramovich and his Russian wife[2][3] Irina Vyacheslavovna Malandina. His mother is a former Aeroflot stewardess.[3] They divorced in 2007.[4] He has one brother and three sisters: Ilya, Arina, Sofia, and Anna.[3]
Arkadiy is the founder and owner of ARA Capital, a private investment vehicle whose assets include Zoltav Resources PLC,[5][6] a company listed on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker ZOL. Through ARA Capital, he also bought a 26% stake in Crosby Asset Management.[7][8] In 2010 it was widely reported that Arkadiy made a bid for leading Danish football team FC Copenhagen, however, no bid materialised.[9][10]
