The 3 arrondissements of the Isère department are:

  1. Arrondissement of Grenoble, (prefecture of the Isère department: Grenoble) with 267 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 755,863 in 2013.
  2. Arrondissement of La Tour-du-Pin, (subprefecture: La Tour-du-Pin) with 137 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 267,418 in 2013.
  3. Arrondissement of Vienne, (subprefecture: Vienne) with 117 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 212,106 in 2013.
