The 3 arrondissements of the Sarthe department are:

  1. Arrondissement of La Flèche, (subprefecture: La Flèche) with 125 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 152,710 in 2013.
  2. Arrondissement of Mamers, (subprefecture: Mamers) with 196 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 151,174 in 2013.
  3. Arrondissement of Le Mans, (prefecture of the Sarthe department: Le Mans) with 47 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 265,151 in 2013.
