Luis Arturo Gómez Torres (born 28 May 1984 in Mexico City) is a Mexican boxer in the Lightweight division and is the current WBC Mundo Hispano Lightweight Champion.[1]

Pro career

Arturo won a ten round decision over Sandro Marcos[2] and then lost to undefeated Mexican American Miguel Angel Garcia.[3]

WBC Mundo Hispano Championship

On 17 July 2010, Gómez beat Alexis Salinas to win the WBC Mundo Hispano Lightweight Championship.[4][5]

He has gone the distance with José Emilio Perea, Pedro Navarrete, Óscar Larios, Víctor Manuel Cayo, Juan Carlos Batista, Michael Farenas, and José Alfaro.
