Asiatic: IIUM Journal of English Language and Literature is a biannual Malaysian peer-reviewed academic journal based at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), focusing on literary and linguistics works by Asian and Asian diaspora writers. The journal's current and founding editor-in-chief is Mohammad A. Quayum. Each issue has sections covering:[1]

  • critical writings
  • creative writing
  • reviews and review articles on books, novels and plays written in English on Asian topics

Abstracting and indexing

The journal is abstracted and indexed in the MLA International Bibliography, EBSCO databases, Scopus, AustLit: The Resource for Australian Literature, Malaysian Abstracting and Indexing System, The Journal of Commonwealth Literature’s Annual Bibliography (United Kingdom) and Thomson Reuter's Web of Science (ESCI). The journal is a member of The Council of Editors of Learned Journals.[2]
