Asteroid is a 1980 board game published by Game Designers' Workshop.

Gameplay

Asteroid is a game in which a team of adventurers tries to enter an asteroid mining station and stop is computer brain from smashing the asteroid into the Earth.[1]

Reception

William A. Barton reviewed Asteroid in The Space Gamer No. 34.[1] Barton commented that "Asteroid is very playable and a lot of fun – more so than many games costing more than twice its price. Well worth the investment."[1]
