Astrid Gjertsen (born 14 September 1928) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party.[1] She was Minister of Administration and Consumer Affairs 1981–1986. She was born in Denmark, making her Norway's first government minister with an immigrant background.[2] In 1973 she was elected as a member to the Norwegian Parliament from Aust-Agder, and she was reelected on three occasions.[1]
