Chris Moore is a Maryland born American hip hop artist who goes by the stage name Atari Blitzkrieg. Currently signed to his own label Godsendant Music, he is known for his heavy use of alliteration, multi-syllabic rhyming schemes and incorporation of various genres into his music. He is also the producer, Krohme.

A review on Music Zeitgeist states, "Atari Blitzkrieg is not a noise-core post-electro-clash/Blade Runner tributary. Evoking something more along the lines of Jedi Mind Tricks sharing kind with Common and maybe even MC. 900 Ft. Jesus, Atari Blitzkrieg is ready to drop a fat collection of eloquence and Cheshire Cat propensity on the sleepy indie music world."[1]

History

Born as Chris Moore in a United States Navy hospital in Bethesda, Maryland to an African-American father an Native-American and Spanish mother, he was exposed to a wide range of musical genres at an early age. He began experimenting with music as a cellist in elementary school. This led to acquiring a thrift store turntable at 12, a drum machine at 14 and a microphone at 15. Atari (as Krohme) created his first mixtape in 1995 using samples looped from his record collection but never publicly released it. He didn't make his first on-record appearance as Atari until 2006 with Krohme's The Beasts Released: South of Heaven Volume 1, which led to 2007's Rokkonorrottenhell single, featuring Royce Da 5'9, Groovie Mann from the industrial band My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult and producer Krohme.[1]

Since then, he has been nominated as an URB Next 1000, released close to 200 songs, unveiled 25 EPs, 3 full-length albums, guest appearances on releases from Louis Logic, C-Rayz Walz and Little Indian while working with some of the biggest names in hip-hop; The Game, Lord Jamar, Daedelus, Rapper Pooh, Louis Logic, Vast Aire, Roc C, LMNO, Ryu of Styles of Beyond, Breez Evahflowin, Motion Man and Wildchild to name a few. His lyrical content ranges from current political issues to social inequality to pop-culture to video games.

He is a member of Blood Moon Uprising, a metal band with a heavy anti-political message with guitarists Hidekazu Seki & Matt Coller and Vinyl Pimp Cobras, a rock band with heavy funk and hiphop roots featuring musicians Bionicheart and Digital Fiend.

Atari also devotes his time and his earnings to various charities and non-profit organizations including the American Cancer Society, the Lupus Foundation of America, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and Bright Beginnings Inc., a child and family development center that offers a bright start for homeless infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and their families.
