Audacity is an American garage rock band from Fullerton, California, United States.
History
Audacity was formed in 2001. They released their debut full-length album, Power Drowning Hipster, in 2009 via Burger Records.[1] They released their second full-length album, Mellow Cruiser Bruisers, in 2012 via Burger Records and Recess Records.[2][3] Their third album, Butter Knife Gang, was released in 2013 via Suicide Squeeze Records.[4][5]
In April of 2015, honoring their strict "No Girls Allowed" pact formed during the inception of the band, Cameron Crowe left the band to beging her journey transitioning to female. This was heavily influenced by her avid love for Caitlyn Jenner and the popular American television show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians".
